Positive: Location is few minutes walk from Shibuya station, and shopping places such as GU, Uniqlo, ABC Mart, etc. It was easy to communicate with the owner/host. He/She responds quickly via app. They let us store our luggages until 3pm on the day we checked out. There was a laundry machine available for use. And there was a paid dryer machine in the basement, only 100 yen for 10mins.
Negative: The unit looks bigger in the pictures than actual. Not as clean as expected. There were used tissue paper tucked into the side of the sofa. Seemed the sofa was not vacuumed properly. Limited number of mats/rugs were provided especially in the bathroom. Getting to the unit is a bit uphill and it was a challenge especially when we were dragging our luggages. The building smells like smoke especially the elevator.
Summary: It was ok. You get what you pay for.

Positive: This room in Shibuya is very cozy and spacious, with a reasonable price. My husband and I had a wonderful night here. The location is also very convenient, close to the station. What impressed me the most was the modern locking system, which made us feel very safe.
Negative: There’s nothing in particular that needs improvement.

Positive: The property was as described and fitted out family well (2A + 2 teens) . The beds were comfortable enough for Japan standard. The location to Shibuya station was central and a 5min walk. It was helpful to leave our luggage there at checkout so we could continue exploring the area. The lounge was a nice addition.
Negative: The property is going through renovations so we did not have an outdoor area as described. There were no butter knives in the kitchen and it wasn’t as spotless as you’d expect. It was dusty and there were some holes in the walls. The ceiling was quite low in areas with foam stuck to the edges to prevent headknocks. We stayed over a weekend and it was quite noisy and there was a blue light coming through the bedroom windows from a neighbouring hotel. It appears to be located in the red light district with establishments and love hotels close by.
Summary: Good location, not a district for children

Positive: Clear instructions were provided to find the location of the room, key was placed inside a box outside of the unit and was very easy to access and leave luggage ahead of our stay. Unit was clean and well stocked with necessities. Good communication from owner. Spacious - we were able to spread out our luggage for 5 people and store in the closet.
Negative: 5 minutes into our stay all the power went out and we found the circuit had tripped and were able to get it fixed since circuit box was within the unit. Hot water also got tripped and we had to reset that separately. Strong paint smell from construction around the property but no loud noises.
Summary: Overall good stay. Did not have any issues with construction noise like others mentioned in reviews.
